When You Count Your Blessings…

When you count your blessings… When you think of all God has done for you…

 

How much of it was God’s reward for your faithfulness and obedience?

How much of it was simply God’s mercy and generosity?

How much of it did you earn by your good works?

How much of it was according to your great faith?

How much of it was in spite of your doubt and disobedience?

How much of it was an answer to someone else’s faith, not yours?

How much of it was because someone was praying for you?

How much of it was because Jesus, your advocate with the Father, was interceding for you?

How much of it did God give you, just so you could be a pipeline for Him to bless others?

 

If we don’t know the answers to these questions, (and I don’t), we should be SO humble, and have an overwhelming gratitude to our wonderful, loving, merciful, forgiving, generous, Heavenly Father!
