One accord = one “a chord”.

One accord = one “a chord”. This isn’t a lesson in Greek. It’s just something that popped into my head one time when I was reading in Acts about the early church. Anyway, it stuck. And I thought about it again last night when we heard the preaching about rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah. Each family rebuilding their given section… whether a gate, or a tower, or a section of wall. Like a chord… each note or string different, but all in harmony, for the same goal. When those single notes are played together, it becomes beautiful music, …or in this example, the city of God is fortified. The application to the body of Christ in this day is obvious, so you can take it from there…
